These Terms & Conditions apply to all touring services, escorted journeys, private touring, cruise extensions and related travel services provided by See Around Corners and Michael Alexander.

By confirming a booking or participating in a tour, guests acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as advised at the time of booking.

Final payment terms may vary depending on the touring program, supplier requirements and booking conditions provided prior to departure.

See Around Corners reserves the right to cancel bookings that remain unpaid beyond the advised payment date.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoiced services are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.

Late payments may incur additional administration or recovery costs where applicable.

See Around Corners reserves the right to withhold confirmation of future bookings or services where outstanding invoices remain unpaid.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tour or service commencement will incur 100% of the quoted or invoiced tour cost.

For extended touring programs, private touring or custom itineraries involving third-party supplier commitments, additional cancellation fees may apply where costs have already been incurred on behalf of the guest or client.

See Around Corners recommends that all guests and clients hold appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation and unforeseen travel disruptions.

Itinerary Changes

While every effort is made to operate tours as published, itineraries may occasionally need to change due to:

• weather conditions

• road or track closures

• operational requirements

• supplier availability

• safety considerations

• cultural or community requirements

• force majeure events

See Around Corners reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, transport or activities where necessary to ensure the safe and professional delivery of the journey.

Where possible, comparable alternatives will be provided.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

• ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the tour

• carrying any required medications

• obtaining appropriate travel insurance

• complying with all safety instructions provided during the journey

• respecting local communities, cultural protocols and the environment

Guests whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate may be removed from a tour without refund.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests and should include coverage for:

• cancellation

• medical expenses

• personal belongings

• travel delays

• remote area evacuation where applicable

Health & Medical Conditions

Guests must advise See Around Corners prior to departure of any medical conditions, mobility concerns, dietary requirements or other matters that may affect their participation in the tour.

While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate guest needs, some remote or extended touring programs may involve limited access to medical facilities and services.

Remote & Regional Touring

Some journeys operated or facilitated by See Around Corners travel through remote and regional areas of Australia and New Zealand where conditions may be unpredictable and facilities limited.

Guests acknowledge that remote touring may involve:

• extended travel distances

• variable road and weather conditions

• limited communications

• changes to schedules or itineraries

Safety remains the highest operational priority throughout all touring programs.

Responsibility & Liability

See Around Corners acts as an organiser and coordinator of touring services and may engage third-party suppliers including accommodation providers, transport operators, cruise companies and activity operators.

While reasonable care is taken in selecting suppliers, See Around Corners is not liable for:

• acts or omissions of third-party providers

• delays or disruptions outside reasonable control

• personal injury, loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond its control

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

Cultural & Environmental Respect

See Around Corners is committed to respectful and responsible tourism practices.

Guests are expected to:

• respect Indigenous cultural protocols

• follow instructions provided by Traditional Owners and local guides

• minimise environmental impact

• travel responsibly throughout all destinations visited

Photography & Marketing

From time to time, photographs or video may be taken during touring programs for promotional purposes.

Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should advise See Around Corners prior to departure.

Privacy

See Around Corners respects guest privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.
